CROWN

Inspired by the C.R.O.W.N Act which stands for “Create a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair, CROWN tells the story of an aspiring young Ballet dancer trying to tame her hair into submission as she embarks on the most important audition of her life. CROWN is a coming of age story for all ages to enjoy. It is an ode to black hair and black girls who do ballet. With an all Black cast and original music by Agyakomah, this short film celebrates Black Hair, Black Dance and Black Excellence.

DIASPORA DIARY

Diaspora Diary is a fun digital talk show series where people of African descent can interactively explore their history, address controversial topics, and discuss black culture and current events. Whether it’s a scroll through "black twitter" or debate on cultural appropriation, we can see that there's a prevalence of black cross cultural conflict. The Living Room is a talk show series featuring vibrant young adults from the DMV exploring controversial topics and current events inspired from excerpts in trending music, films, culture, and social media. The cast features young professionals from different races, sexes, and backgrounds that go head to head on taboo subjects amidst breaks of comedic improvisation and special guests. Our mantra is "un-politically correct".
